Los Angeles, CA – Get ready for lots of sunshine, rainbows, and happiness, pony-style! The original tv series that started the My Little Pony phenomenon is finally coming to DVD in its entirety. My Little Pony The Complete Series features all 65 episodes, and will be available September 30 in the U.S. and Canada from Shout! Factory Kids in collaboration with Hasbro Studios.

You’re invited to return to Ponyland, the home of all your favorite classic Little Ponies, including the Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasus Ponies, Flutter Ponies, Sea Ponies, Baby Sea Ponies, their human friends Megan, Danny and Molly and, of course, their dragon friend, Spike! Together, they live a life of games, songs and harmony with allies like the Bushwoolies and Furbobs. But, occasionally, there are problems in Ponyland and the Little Ponies of Paradise Estate must face evil witches, goblins, Stone Backs, Grundles and more! Now you can join in the fun and adventure with My Little Pony: The Complete Series!

Also available on September 30 is My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina and Other Adventures. When the evil, cat-like Catrina attempts to enslave the Little Ponies of Paradise Estates to create a Witchweed potion that will grant her control of the weather, it’s up to Sundance and Baby Moondancer to save the day! My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina And Other Adventures also features many of the other fan-favorite episodes including Little Piece Of Magic, Would Be Dragonslayer, The Revolt Of Paradise Estate, Rescue From Midnight Castle, and Flight To Cloud Castle, which are also included on My Little Pony: The Complete Series.

ooo this is exciting, question on rescue from midnight castle, will it be the edited version, or the complete unedited version? Same for Escape From Catrina, will that be the edited version or the full?

Will this DvD set be a re-release of the two seasons from earlier, which is the re-runs of the TV programme? Or will it be a proper release this time with the shows the way they were originally aired in 1986? Also, why isn't the episode "Spike's Search" (Episode 55) included?

Addendum to previous comment: List is also missing episodes 58 and 59 (Flight to Cloud Castle parts 1 & 2). I hope that it's just a typo and those missing episodes are included.

Are these the unedited versions of both Rescue from Midnight Castle and Escape from Catrina? The last time this series was released on DVD it only had the edited versions. I only want the uncut versions.

Why are Midnight Castle and Escape from Catrina mixed in with the 4th disc, shouldn't those be at the start of Disc 1?
